J’ai la joie de vivre. Ahhh, que ça fait du bien ressentir que ta motivation est de retour.
I’ve decided I want to be a type of coach because.. why not? Not just a teacher with younger children. Instead of wondering, debating, questioning. Just going with the flow and following my instincts. The difference is that I’m going to really pursue what I want. It’s been a little difficult but you know! Project management and being a coordinator is actually also something I enjoy. SIGH.
Just watch me. I may stumble, maybe fall, but the power is in getting back up. It’s a good feeling. You can feel it too!
I still enjoy being a teacher. That’s why people think of coaching because it’s just in a different setting with a wider audience. In the meantime, being an elementary school teacher is a fun part of my life. Their well-being, seeing that kid’s light bulb just turn on… it just lights me up too. Being a teacher, an educator, a mentor, it holds a special place in my heart.
But hey, who said I can’t do both? 😉
Like I said, just watch me. Life is for celebrating! 🥳

On another note, working out every morning again has been so refreshing. Whipping those flappy muscles back into shape. Back, arms, glutes, core, err thang.
The difficult part is finding my ooold ways to do my exercises with lack of equipment. (oh, thank you childhood-dragonball-Z-books-I-borrowed-from-my-brother for giving me the idea of stacking my backpack with heavy books to train haha!) I’ve been using gallons of oil and vinegar for weights. Thankfully, I have a yoga mat now that’s been handy.
Starting it slow and steady with warm-up dips and leg swings really. Loosen up those tight hips! I’ve been using my Peach Bands to tighten
3 Rounds of:
- 20 superman holds, 10th rep hold 15 sec
- 20 lunges, each leg. every 5th rep down slow
- 12 modified handstand push-ups
- 25 squats, alternating narrow/wide per round
- 20 glute bridges, hold 10 seconds every 5th
- 20 situps, crunch every 5th
- 15 back leg raises each
- 15 side leg raises each
- 30 sec-1min plank
- 30 sec-1min side planks
cool down with stretches.
I’ve been keeping this up for 2 weeks now and let myself modify where I need to. Sometimes I do a combination of what’s there, as long as I feel my muscles burning through the workout, I’m happy! 🙂
